Every Manchester United player's transfer value [2025]

Ruben Amorim predicted that a storm would soon descend over his reign at Manchester United. After consecutive defeats against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, it looks like the gloomy clouds the Portuguese alluded to are already rising over Old Trafford.

The recent setbacks have highlighted how difficult a challenge Amorim has, with many feeling the majority of the present squad is incapable of carrying the team ahead under the new 3-4-3 style. In truth, just six players have been designated as unsellable, including Amad Diallo and Leny Yoro. That might indicate that huge changes are on the way, with 'almost half the squad' up for sale.

However, it has been disclosed that in order to comply with profit and sustainability standards (PSR), United must sell before purchasing, emphasizing the significance of a squad revamp. With that in mind, SPORTING ABOVE has chosen to look at each Manchester United player's current transfer worth, as determined by Sofascore, to see what the Red Devils may recuperate on the market.

Goalkeepers

Andre Onana's comeback at Manchester United has been spectacular. While statistics revealed that the Cameroonian ranked high in goals avoided during his debut season, the former Inter Milan star was prone to disastrous blunders, prompting questions about why Erik ten Hag had chosen him to replace David de Gea. The 28-year-old is not one of the players Amorim is currently trying to sell, but if that changes, Sofascore estimates the shot-stopper at £26 million.

Despite owning the number one shirt, Altay Bayindir has received little attention in terms of backup possibilities. He is valued at £8 million, allowing the team to earn a profit after investing £4.3 million to buy the Turkish international. Veteran Tom Heaton is similarly undervalued, with the former Burnley ace rated at just £200,000, the lowest in the squad.

1. Andre Onana - £26 million (till June 30, 2028)

2. Altay Bayindir - £8 million (till June 30, 2027)

3. Tom Heaton - £200,000 (till June 30, 2025)

Defenders

Moving on to the backline, and considering that Amorim like to play with three central defenders, most defenders may not feel under immediate pressure to leave the club due to the difficulty of replacing them man-for-man all at once. However, their manager has only identified three players who will not be for sale in this region of the pitch: Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and wonderkid Leny Yoro. These three are worth a combined £114 million.

Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot are the most valuable among the defenders that might go. Real Madrid is apparently interested in the latter, and is willing to spend £45 million despite his estimated value of £31 million. Meanwhile, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia's values have dropped significantly as a result of their recent fitness difficulties. There are also some alarming statistics about Harry Maguire. The Englishman arrived at Old Trafford for a world record amount, but he is now worth only 20% of the £80 million Ole Gunnar Solskjaer paid for him.

1. Matthijs de Ligt - £48 million (till June 30, 2029)

2. Lisandro Martinez - £43 million (till June Jun 30, 2027)

3. Leny Yoro - £42 million (till June 30, 2029)

4. Diogo Dalot - £31 million (till June 30, 2028)

5. Noussair Mazraoui - £24 million (till June 30, 2028)

6. Luke Shaw - £21 million (till June 30, 2027)

7. Harry Maguire - £16 million (till June 30, 2025)

8. Tyrell Malacia - £16 million (till June 30, 2026)

9. Victor Lindelof - £12 million (till June 30, 2025)

10. Jonny Evans - £2 million (till June 30, 2025)

Midfielders

With the exception of Kobbie Mainoo and new acquisition Manuel Ugarte, there are very few midfield alternatives that Manchester United fans would declare they definitely want to keep. Even captain Bruno Fernandes may be in jeopardy due to his recent lackluster performance.

The once-dubbed 'Portuguese magnifico' is one of the club's most valuable players, worth a stunning £49 million, just £2 million more than youngster Maino. However, farther down the list, things become more alarming. Casemiro, a Brazilian midfielder, came for £70 million during Ten Hag's debut season. Despite this, he would only earn £11 million due to his recent drop. United undoubtedly wouldn't expect to recoup the sum they spent for the anchorman, but they'd want to have him off their payroll since he's still the club's biggest earner.

1. Bruno Fernandes - £49 million (till June 30, 2027)

2. Kobbie Mainoo - £47 million (till June 30, 2027)

3. Manuel Ugarte - £39 million (June 30, 2029)

4. Mason Mount - £28 million (till June 30, 2028)

5. Casemiro - £11 million (till June 30, 2026)

6. Christian Eriksen - £7 million (till June 30, 2025)

Attackers

According to sources, no one in the Red Devils' attack is safe from the chopping block save Amad Diallo, putting Marcus Rashford's future at his childhood club at jeopardy. The Englishman's asking price has been dropped to only £40 million, but Sofascore estimates he is worth at least £47 million.

Rasmus Hojlund is now United's most valuable player, with the young Dane worth £58 million. While he still has lots of potential, Amorim may use this amount to assist bring in the already lethal Viktor Gyokeres, whom he transformed into a megastar at Sporting Lisbon.

Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee are likewise rather expensive, although Antony is not. The winger has swiftly become one of the club's worst-ever signings, with a market value of around £15 million, £70 million less than his initial signing fee.

1. Rasmus Hojlund - £58 million (till June 30, 2028)

2. Marcus Rashford - £47 million (till June 30, 2028)

3. Joshua Zirkzee - £43 million (till June 30, 2029)

4. Alejandro Garnacho - £39 million (till June 30, 2028)

5. Amad Diallo - £17 million (till June 30, 2025)

6. Antony - £15 million (till June 30, 2027)
