‎The Egyptian forward put an end to months of speculation surrounding his future, with the announcement of his new deal arriving on Friday. With just months left on his previous contract, fears were growing among Liverpool fans that Salah could leave on a free transfer this summer.
‎However, in a major boost for Jürgen Klopp’s side, Salah has pledged his immediate future to the Merseyside giants — and secured a pay rise that elevates him to the same wage bracket as Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
‎According to The Sun, Salah will now earn £400,000 per week, up from his previous salary of £350,000. That makes him the joint-second highest earner in the Premier League, trailing only Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who reportedly pockets £500,000 per week.
‎At 32, Salah is showing no signs of slowing down. The prolific forward currently leads the Premier League goal chart with 27 goals — six ahead of Haaland — and also tops the assist standings with 17. His all-round dominance has made him a frontrunner for another Golden Boot, while reinforcing his status as one of the league’s most valuable assets.
‎Liverpool remain firmly on course for a Premier League title, holding an 11-point lead at the top of the table. The Reds will look to maintain that advantage when they face West Ham at Anfield on Sunday.
‎Salah’s renewed commitment, coupled with his elite-level performance, offers Liverpool not just continuity but also a psychological edge as they head into the final stretch of the campaign.
‎With his new contract, Mohamed Salah has not only silenced transfer rumors but also underscored his enduring legacy as a Liverpool legend and Premier League powerhouse.
