Chelsea Weigh Striker Signing as Nicolas Jackson's Future Faces Uncertainty
Chelsea are assessing the possibility of signing a new striker before the transfer window deadline amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding Nicolas Jackson.
The 24-year-old forward was on the verge of joining Bayern Munich on loan, but plans were halted when Chelsea recalled him after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury. Jackson had already traveled to Germany for medical tests, yet the Premier League side instructed him to return and made it clear a temporary move would no longer be sanctioned.

Current expectations are for Jackson to remain with Enzo Maresca’s first-team squad to navigate a demanding run of fixtures across domestic and European competitions. Nonetheless, Chelsea’s recruitment team is drawing up contingency plans should a permanent transfer offer arrive before Monday’s cut-off.
With limited viable loan solutions available, Chelsea are exploring permanent acquisitions and have already opened enquiries for several options, including Sporting CP and Denmark forward Conrad Harder.
The London club also confirmed the addition of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United on Saturday, marking their ninth new arrival of the summer transfer window.
